An open beta
Imprintal is in open beta and free to use. Features change, limits may be tuned, and things will occasionally break. We work hard to keep your work safe, but please keep your own copies of documents and exports that matter to you.
Accounts
An account is for one person, signed in with an email address they control. Keep access to that inbox safe: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
Don’t create accounts to get around the limits of the Free plan.
Workspaces and teams
Projects and credits belong to a workspace. Your personal workspace is only for you. A team workspace belongs to its owner, who can invite people, give them roles, transfer ownership and delete the workspace with everything in it. Admins manage members; editors design and export; viewers look.
If you invite people, you are responsible for inviting only people who should see the workspace’s projects.
Your content
Your documents, images and the publications made from them stay yours. You give us permission to store, process, render and display them only to run Imprintal for you, for the members of your workspace and for anyone you share a link with. That includes sending the parts a task needs to our model providers, as the Privacy Policy describes.
You must have the right to use what you upload, including any photos, illustrations and fonts in it.
The engine never rewrites, shortens or drops your words to make a design fit, and we never print anything on your pages about how they were made: no credits, colophons or AI labels.
What it makes
You may use the PDFs, page images and generated images made for your projects for any lawful purpose. Generated images are decorative and are not checked against other people’s work; avoid using them where that matters.
Check a publication before you rely on it or send it to print. The preflight report for print and press files is our own self-check against PDF/X-4, not a certified validation; your printer’s preflight has the final word, and we are not responsible for print runs.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Imprintal to:
- make or share anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights;
- impersonate a person or an organisation, or make documents meant to deceive (forged official papers, fake news presented as real);
- generate images of real, identifiable people. People in generated images must be fictional;
- harass, threaten or exploit anyone, or make sexual content involving minors (we report it);
- send spam or mass invitations to people who didn’t ask for them;
- probe, overload or work around the security, rate limits or credit limits of the service, or resell it.
Credits and plans
During the beta every workspace gets 300 credits a month, with a daily cap per person and up to 3 members in a team workspace. Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred, and unused credits don’t carry over to the next month. The current allowance and prices are on the pricing page; we may change them, and we will tell workspace owners before the Free plan gets smaller.
Paid plans will come later, billed per workspace, under terms we will publish then.
Suspension and ending
You can delete your workspaces and your account whenever you like. We may suspend an account or remove content that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
We may change or end the beta. If we shut Imprintal down we will give at least 30 days’ notice so you can download your exports.
Liability
Imprintal is provided “as is” during the beta, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product changes. For meaningful changes we will tell account holders by email before they take effect. Questions about these terms: support@a1base.com.
