Privacy Policy
Imprintal turns your documents into designed PDFs. To do that it has to store them and send parts of them to a model. This page says exactly what we keep, where, who else handles it, and how you delete it. Imprintal is run by A1Base (“we”).

Your account
We store your name, your email address and whether you have verified it, and, if you sign in with Google, the link to your Google account and the profile details Google shares (name, email, picture). There are no passwords: sign-in codes and links are stored only as hashes and expire after 10 minutes.
For each session we keep its expiry, the IP address and the browser’s user agent it started from, so you stay signed in and so we can spot misuse. Sessions last 30 days.
We use your email address to sign you in and to send invitations someone asks us to send. We keep a log of the emails we send (the address, the kind of email and when); the codes in them are masked.
Workspaces and your content
Workspaces hold their members and roles, invitations (the invited email address, the role and who sent it) and their projects.
A project holds what you upload and what is made from it: documents (Markdown) and images, layout plans, renders (PDFs and page images), generated images, exports with their preflight reports, revisions with the name of the member who made each one, and share links. Only the workspace’s members can see them, plus anyone you give a share link to.
When you design in the browser, each designer chat is kept with its project: your messages, the designer’s replies and a summary of its reasoning, the questions it asked and your answers, the steps it ran with their results, and what each turn cost. The workspace’s members can read them. Pictures in a chat are links to the project’s own files, not copies.
We also keep a usage ledger (who in a workspace spent which credits on what, and when), an audit log of security-relevant actions (invitations, role changes, removals, ownership transfers, deletions, exports), and any feedback you send us from the app, with your name, email and workspace.
Where it is stored
Imprintal runs on Cloudflare: the app on Workers, accounts and records in D1 (Cloudflare’s database), your files in R2 (Cloudflare’s storage), and the layout engine in Cloudflare Containers. Emails are sent through Cloudflare’s email service or, if we switch to it, another email provider. Cloudflare may process data in any country where it operates.
Model providers
To design your document, the parts of it a task needs (its text, its structure, page images and the checks’ results) are sent to Anthropic’s Claude models, through Cloudflare’s AI services (AI Gateway and its unified API). If you ask for a generated image, a description of the picture is sent to an image model, either on Cloudflare Workers AI (for example Black Forest Labs’ FLUX models) or OpenAI’s image models through Cloudflare. Images are only generated when you say yes.
We do not use your content to train models and we do not sell it. The providers process it to answer each request under their terms for business use of their APIs.
The layout engine itself (rendering, checks, exports) makes no model or network calls.
Nothing printed about how a page was made
We never add credits, colophons, AI labels or other notes about how a design or an image was made to your pages. What is on a page is your text and the design around it.
How long we keep things
- Projects stay until you delete them. A project moved to the trash keeps its files for 30 days, so it can be restored, then is removed for good with everything made from it, its designer chats included; an admin can remove it sooner.
- Share links work until they are revoked, expire, or their project goes to the trash. We keep only a fingerprint of each link, who made it, when and when it was last opened.
- Deleting a workspace deletes its projects, files and invitations.
- Deleting your account deletes your profile, your sessions, your personal workspace and every team workspace you are alone in. Team workspaces with other members stay with them (you transfer ownership first if you own one).
- Sign-in codes and links expire after 10 minutes; sessions after 30 days.
- The email log is kept for 90 days. The usage ledger and the audit log are kept while the workspace exists, to keep credits and security right.
- Backups of the database can hold deleted records for up to 30 days before they roll over.
